Birthday Parties
We have a range of parties available for children of all ages. Play tots is great for the toddlers and how about our new Disco Diva Party for the more 'mature' 8 - 10's.
Parents are encouraged to join in the fun however our trained and experienced party leaders ensure the children have a good time. An hour of games and activities is followed by the food of your choice.

Junior Soccer Courses
Our Soccer Clinic runs junior football coaching sessions throughout the year, outdoors at the Danes Recreation Ground in the spring and summer, and indoors at Dover Leisure Centre in the winter.
Sessions run on a Saturday morning throughout the year with special fundays and soccer camps in the school holidays.
Fully qualified Football Association Level 1 and 2 coaches teach the children the skills that can prepare them for competitive team play. The soccer clinic uses the Dutch Coerver teaching methods that are designed to challenge and stimulate learning.

Trampolining
We operate trampoline courses for all ages throughout the year at both of our leisure centres in line with the school term dates as well as special trampoline fundays during the holidays.

Vista Leisure is registered with British Gymnastics Association and we use their progressive badge and certificate scheme to monitor and improve performance. All coaches are experienced and possess governing body qualifications.
We can accommodate single course bookings, group and school bookings and special needs groups.

Junior Badminton (Dover Leisure Centre Only)
Our Junior Badminton club has grown considerably in recent years and is very popular with children from 8 - 16 years. Sessions operate every Thursday from 7.00pm - 8.00pm during school term time.
The hour long session comprises of a warm up, coaching and game play. Those interested can take part in the competition ladders and even represent the centre in friendly matches against other local centres.

Table Tennis Club (Dover Leisure Centre Only)
Dover Leisure Centre hosts the Saturday Table Tennis Club in partnership with the Dover Table Tennis Association.
Open every Saturday morning between 9am - 12pm it offers free coaching from qualified coaches, match play and structured sessions for novices, intermediates and experts.
This is a mixed session for adults and children from the age of 8.

Tennis (Tides Leisure Centre Only)
The Indoor tennis Centre at Tides Leisure Centre operates a comprehensive coaching programme catering for complete beginners through to performance players.
The tennis coaching programme is delivered by Appeti Tennis, a professional coaching and tennis development company who have been partners with Vista Leisure since January 2004.

Crèche/Toddlers
Our crèche facility operates Monday to Friday mornings (times vary, see below) and is very popular with mums and dads who want to attend a class, go for a swim or use the gym.
Children 6 weeks - 5 years old are looked after by our qualified and experienced staff while you make the most of the centre facilities.

Play on Prescription (in association with Sure Start)
This is a family based drop-in play session developed in association with Sure Start.
The session encourages parents to accompany their children and interact with others attending. A diverse range of toys and equipment helps the children develop the skills important for successful schooling.
The session runs every Monday including school holidays from 10.00am - 12.30pm. Excludes Bank Holidays.
Kidzclub
Vista Leisure Kidzclub operates at both leisure centres and offers a varied programme of sports and arts activites for children 5 - 11 years during school holidays.
Kidzclub sessions run from 9.00am through to 4.00pm and we have an enthusiastic and qualified team of staff to supervise the children.
Places must be booked for this popular session by calling your local centre. Kidzclub sessions can be found advertised on the Current Holiday Leaflet which can be downloaded below.
Art Workshops
Our school holiday programme includes Art Workshops which are very popular and always booked very quickly.
Each workshop has a theme and offers the children a chance to complete a range of set projects which they can take home.
Places must be booked for this popular session by calling your local centre and sessions can be found advertised on the Current Holiday Leaflet which can be downloaded below.
Schools / Groups
All of our facilities are available for school or group hire throughout the day. We can offer a range of tutor led or basic hire packages in addition to the services offered at Community Vista.
We can assist you with putting together a programme of activities for your school or group. Expert assistance with this is just a phone call away. Ask to speak to the Community Manager at Dover Leisure Centre on 01304 20145.
Sports Fun Days
Make a choice from a variety of sports fun days every school holiday. These days offer the chance to try a sport for the first time or improve on skills further. All abilities are welcome.
The format for each day is a mixture of coaching, games and competitions all led by our qualified coaches.
Choices currently include Football, Tennis and Trampolining.
Disco Rollerskating
Vista Leisure has teamed up with local Disco Atlantis Entertainment to provide Roller Skating sessions every Sunday at Dover Leisure Centre. The Family session runs 4.00pm to 5.30pm.
The sports hall provides an excellent skating surface and the disco with pumping music and flashing lights provides the atmosphere.
- Family Session 4pm - 5.30pm
- Tickets cost £4.00 per person and includes skate hire.
Summer Break – The skating sessions will finish on Sunday 25th May but will return on Sunday 14th September.
